FRISCO, Texas -- The Frisco Independent School District this year is helping protect its students from sex offenders. Seven Frisco schools are using a new system from Raptor Systems to check school visitors against a sexual offender database.

Plano leaders run from Census Bureau's 'wealthiest' designation
For many communities, being named America's wealthiest large city might inspire civic pride.
But for Plano, a suburb that has tried hard to shed a perception, fair or not, of elitist affluence, the news might as well be radioactive.
A recent U.S. Census Bureau survey confirmed what many in North Texas may already have suspected: Plano has the highest median household income, $84,492, of any community with a population of at least 250,000.

FRISCO, Texas -- Some residents have found art in an unlikely place after a Frisco city worker took it upon himself to get creative as he patched up the street.
With a quick glance at the street, there appears to be just a lot of squiggly lines, but closer inspection reveals what some are calling tar art. See the Video.
